Connection Established
Two blockchains establish an IBC connection through a handshake process, creating a secure communication channel.
Packet Creation
When a user initiates a cross-chain transfer, the source chain creates an IBC packet containing the transaction data.
Relayer Transmission
The relayer monitors both chains, picks up the packet from the source chain, and submits it to the destination chain.
Verification & Execution
The destination chain verifies the packet's authenticity using light client proofs and executes the transaction.
